Michael Anderson Michael Anderson
Guidewire, Global Practice Lead

Michael Anderson has dedicated his entire 30-year career serving the P&C Insurance industry. As the Global Practice Lead, Ecosystem Michael helps Guidewire customers maximize their core system investment by focusing on claims automation. Prior to his current role Michael was the Business Owner of Guidewire Predictive Analytics, led Audatex North America Data Science & Analytic teams and served as Director, Travelers Insurance where he co-managed countrywide Personal Lines Claim Operations.

Paul Barry Paul Barry
Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association/CIECA, Executive Director

Paul Barry has more than 30 years in the insurance and technology industries. Over the last 20 years he has held executive / senior leadership positions with a focus on claims and auto repair technology.

He is currently the Executive Director of the Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association (CIECA).

He began his career with SAFECO Insurance Company as an auto claims adjuster. Over 22 years he held a number of management and leadership roles and eventually rose to the position of VP of National Operations for Safeco.

In 2006 he joined PerformanceGateway to help design and build an industry leading software product for managing Direct Repair Programs and Collision Repair Analytics.

Barry went on to consulting where he led a variety of insurance and collision related technology projects.

In 2015 he joined PEMCO Insurance to lead an initiative to transform their claims and analytics systems. Barry went on to lead the claims organization as the VP of Claims.

He joined CIECA in 2020.

Barry lives outside Seattle WA with his wife Jane. They have two daughters, Kelly and Allison.

Trent Tinsley Trent Tinsley
Entegral, Assistant Vice President

Trent Tinsley is AVP of Business Development & Sales Operations for Entegral, an Enterprise Holdings-owned affiliate. In this role, Tinsley is responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities with companies across the collision, insurance and manufacturer business segments. Tinsley also oversees Entegral's global delivery and customer success teams, and is heavily involved in industry organizations, including the Collision Industry Conference. Prior to joining Entegral, Tinsley was instrumental in the strategy, design, and implementation of the various ARMS® applications used by insurers, repairers, dealerships and accounts worldwide.

Scott Kohl Scott Kohl
Kemper Insurance, Assistant Vice President

Scott has been in the finance-insurance-collision industry for 25+ years. He recently joined Kemper Auto as AVP of APD Product Development, Strategy, and Innovation after serving over 24 years with Liberty Mutual/Safeco as Vice President of Auto Physical Damage - Global Retail Markets. During his time at Safeco/Liberty Mutual he managed over $4.1 billion in spend, encompassed a staff of US and international employees, partnered with 3200 shop partners, and worked collaboratively on product development and digital transformation. In recent years, under his leadership Liberty Personal Insurance has expanded its direct repair program with a claims penetration of over 60%, expanded United States operations to Europe and South America, implemented a US-based logistics and claims routing system, implemented lean-sprint problem solving and MVP products, delivered a best in class digital appraisal service model, reduced operational expense, significantly reduced the use of independent adjusters, drove alignment and execution between contact centers and field claims, and managed loss cost resulting in loss ratios and KPI’s that are outperforming peers in the industry. He has proven expertise in auto/property/casualty claims, strategic partnership management, contract management, risk mitigation, executive leadership, and leading business process improvement and organizational design.

Jon A. Cardi Jon A. Cardi
Safelite® Solutions, SVP, Strategic Client Sales and Support

Since joining Safelite in 1996, Jon Cardi has held several key positions including District Operations Manager, Regional Operations Manager and Regional Vice President of AutoGlass Sales and Operations. In 2006, Jon joined the Safelite Solutions’ team as VP Client Sales and Support with key client responsibilities. In 2009 Jon took point leading Safelite’s National Account Management team focusing on key aspects of the company’s insurance, commercial and government claims management business including client partnerships, business development and integrating field operations. In 2018, Jon was promoted to his current role of SVP, Strategic Client Sales and Support leading strategic insurance client team and field sales operations.

Previously, Cardi was the Director of Company Operations for Mobil Oil Corp. His career began in Mobil’s Marketing Training Program, upon completion held numerous field sales and operations positions over his 6-year tenure.

Cardi is Past Chair, Board of Directors at the Mid-Ohio Collective that distributes 78M pounds of food to central Ohio’s most needy through 700 agencies in 20 counties. He also serves as Trustee Secretary Officer for the Community Shelter Board which provides resources through 14 partner agencies in providing temporary shelter and housing assistance to 4000 of Columbus’ Homeless.
